LA IMAGEN VUELTA (Jordan Viaga Pallas – B1)
The mural is called «The image returns» and it is located in Andalucia avenue number 57, at the same building that the Moderna Bakery, «The mural» was painted by Fernando Clemente, a contemporanean artist.
The painting consists of different triangles with different colours: Red, black, yellow and green. The triangles form a kind of chain trying to make a circle, the red and black ones are binded but the yellow and green are separated. I suppose the artist wants to remember the past by using those colours and that name for the painting, because all these triangles with those colours together combined look old, the red, green and yellow ones remind the 1960s or 1970s decade, and finally the black one reminds the 1920s, when most men wore elegant black suits.
I’m not sure if this is what the artist wants to represent, but this kind of art is subjective, maybe you don´t think the same as me, and for this reason it is better to visit it if you have the opportunity.
